Olowo L’Ayemo

Black damask shot through with gold, cut into the Olowo L’Ayemo and left to fall from the shoulder in one line, over an inner striped in the same two colours. Finished with a tasselled pendant and a carved staff. For the evening ceremony that calls for authority rather than colour. Cut to measure, finished by hand.

Each piece is finished by hand in our atelier; slight variation in weave and dye is the signature of authentic African craft.
