Kaaja Egba

Marigold aso-oke with roses worked into the weave, scalloped at the hem of the bodice and again at the ankle, worn with a gele in the same cloth. Kaaja Egba is made for the Egba daughter at a family ceremony — the colour carries across a courtyard. Woven to order and finished by hand.

Each piece is finished by hand in our atelier; slight variation in weave and dye is the signature of authentic African craft.
