Agbada Balogun Ijaye Kurunmi

The Balogun Ijaye cut at its fullest: ivory long-pile falling from a squared shoulder to the floor, left open over a tunic and trouser in deep wine. Strung with coral and finished with the red cap, it is made for the entrance nobody misses — a chieftaincy, a wedding, the night a title is conferred. Cut to the wearer’s measurements and finished by hand in the Lagos atelier.

Each piece is finished by hand in our atelier; slight variation in weave and dye is the signature of authentic African craft.
