Ijaye 8 (High-Low)

Aso-oke woven in gold and ink, cut high at the front and left long behind so the piece moves in two directions at once. Worn with beads and the matching cap. For ceremony that involves standing, dancing and being photographed, in that order. Woven to order and finished by hand in the Lagos atelier.

Each piece is finished by hand in our atelier; slight variation in weave and dye is the signature of authentic African craft.
